| K0OO | MM | All the spots that were put out during this contest by the multiple of stations were more than greatly appreciated. Please continue to do so during SSB contests. We would like to suggest that all stations calibrate their transceivers master oscillator before any contest so when any of us spots a station the spotted frequency matches the actual stations frequency, preventing the S & P stations from having to continuously rotate their VFO knobs to find the spotted station frequency especially in a RTTY contest. Accurately spotting a CQing station also prevents that station from continually receiving calls off his calling frequency. It has become a 'point and click' world and some people have apparently not learned what a VFO knob does or have forgotten. lol WA3Ekl |
