K0RCSA LP ALLRunning RTTY after a long absence took a little 'getting used to' at the beginning. I had one unexpected COM port conflict that was unusual and puzzling when I setup on Friday afternoon. All the setup parameters appeared correct so a laptop reboot resolved whatever the system was complaining about. During the contest everything worked flawlessly except for the operator and his fat fingers and C.R.S. syndrome during some of the flurries of activities. The weekend propagation was pretty good except for Sunday morning. I expected 20m to be full of stations but it was pretty barren. The majority of activity seemed to be on 10m and 15m. It was several hours before everything was rocking like the day before. It appeared RTTY contesters have honed their contesting skills because the vast majority of exchanges were short and to the point. I can only assume 'best practices' for RTTY was taught at the Contest University sessions and that helped trim useless 'stuff' from the exchange macros. With more contest bands open and thriving at the end of the event, this helped spread out the frenzied pile-ups for the last few multipliers on 20m! At least that was my perception this evening. 73 de Bob - K0RC in MN
K0TCSA HP ALLThis is one of my favorite contests - made even better by the excellent conditions
K0TQSA HP ALLMy personal all time high score. Good bands. Tnx all for qso's. 73
K0YQSO HP ALLPart time effort but full time fun! TU all and RTTY the best
K1DCSA LP ALLFirst license 05-2022. Wow ? Amazing! This is my last year qualifying as a Rookie and conditions were set for a great outing peak solar cycle, the use of a fantastic station (Thanks, Tony!) and my partner is away at a conference - Game On! The only caveat was the lack of a 40m antenna and a second tribander - bad WX the prior week had prevented the tower work necessary to repair the second tower feedline. I was undeterred! I spent a few days of the prior week reviewing last year's scores, finally learning how to use the call queue in N1MM and watching videos on RTTY contesting. I felt I had a good shot at beating my NA Rookie record and NA 8th place overall SOA-LP scores from last year. Yup. humblebragFinal tally (before log checks) was about 3x last year! It also appears that I have beaten the old LP Rookie World record by a comfortable margin. /humblebrag I was following the updates on the contest scoreboard and I was on top for most of the weekend. PY2UD put in a big push in the last hours and pushed past me - well done! (I had configured N1MM to update the contest scoreboard but it was reporting errors during the contest and I didn't want to take the time to troubleshoot it so my scores did not appear.) Now that 3830 data is coming in I see that I'll be lucky to finish in the top 10 - congrats to Malcolm, KI1G! The waterfalls from 10 & 15m were sights to behold - solid signals across the entire RTTY segment. It was difficult to find a spot to run. I had to move several times as new signals popped up defeating even the narrowest of filters. 20m was also busy and 80 was pretty quiet with less than 100 Qs. I didn't find that running LP to be much of a hindrance. Most every station I called responded after one or two calls. Only in the pileups around the rarer DX stations (Vietnam, Nepal, Jordan, etc.) was I frustrated. I'm certain I have much to learn - like when/where to point, what band to be on at a given time (80m I'm takin' about you!), when to switch from runningS&Prunning, etc. but overall I'm pretty chuffed at this year's contest result. Thanks to all who participated and many, MANY thanks to Tony, K1KP for the generous use of his station! Equipment: Flex-6400 Antennas: TX38 tribander and 2el 80m phased delta loop. K3CCRMSHK3CCR is the club station at the Collington continuing-care retirement community at FM 18OW in MD, just east of DC. N3UM and W5MPB did Multi-Op 1 Tx in the 2024 CQ WW RTTY test. W5MPB was not available before ~11Z 9/29 due to non-Ham-radio duties. So, N3UM was on from 00Z 9/28 start to QRT at 0254Z 9/29, and W5MPB was on from 1105Z to ~24Z 9/29, end of the test. With 2 ops, we hoped to beat the 732 Qs & 801.3 K claimed by N3UM in 2023 CQ WW RTTY doing 200+ and Kp = 1-3 good for hi bands, OK for low. At start 00-02Z, N3UM clicked spots, most EU, for 63 20-M Qs, then 62 40-M Qs by 04Z QRT to sleep. Back on at 1113Z he got 20 Qs on 20 M in 25 min, then 87 Qs on 15 M by 1430Z and 33 Qs on 10 M by 1543Z and broke to eat. Back at 1802Z he got 25 more 10-M Qs in 43 min, and 23 15- M Qs in 40 min. Then on 20 M 1953-2201Z he got 101 Qs, 55 of them in a first run at 70/hr and 31 in a 2nd run at 66/hr. He ate 2201- 2251Z then got 120 40-M Qs by 0156Z, 60 in a run at 72/hr. Then he got 9 20-M Qs & 18 on 80 M for 561 total at 0254Z QRT, vs 441 Qs at 0343Z ’23 QRT. On for the first time 1105-1258Z 9/29, W5MPB got 43 Qs 4 on 80 M, 8 on 20 M, 24 on 15 M, and 7 on 10 M. He then got 40 15-M Qs 1310-1437Z & 38 10-M Qs 1452-1617Z & broke to eat. Back 1741-1811Z he got a last 10 Qs on 20 M, then a last 62 Qs on 15 M 1822-2045Z. Then for the last ~3 hrs 2045-2343Z QRT, W5MPB hopped bands for 80 more Qs 18 on 20 M, 25 on 40 M, & 22 on 80 M
K3JTSO LP 10MLimited time available. 10M was a lot of fun. Most notable QSO was A71AE who could hear me low power and limited antenna
K3TWSO QRP 15M'Operating with 5 watts QRP is a huge challenge on RTTY!'
K4QDSA HP ALLGreat contest. I operated longer than in recent contests. Happy with results using only one end fed wire antenna and 250W max. Station- ICOM-IC7300 with SPE Expert 1K amp running 250W max into 80 EFHW antenna
K5ZDSO HP ALLAmazing conditions and activity made the contest a lot of fun. My last WW RTTY from W1 before I relocate to W8 next year. It was a great one!

K7BVTSA HP ALLGreat band conditions, especially on 10 meters. Worked a few new ones. Had fun. Thanks to those that put this one on. -73- Chuck
K8LFSA HP ALLI had tower cranked down to about 35 FT for Friday storm and completed crank up to full height on Saturday morning. Conditions were great. Seemed like less countries were on but my score really excelled because of Saturday's S&P. My spotting filters are really strict but lots of new mults from picking unknown stations on the N1MM spectrum display. All that S&P on Saturday really helped my score. I started running on later Saturday and more on Sunday. Glad I dropped to 80M on Saturday night as I did work several DX stations and plenty of state mults. High Power running close to 1KW and watching the temp on the RF-Kit amp to keep it mostly below 50c
K9DRSA HP ALLJust a few hours of operation between remote shifts on NA7TB to give out the WY multiplier

KA1CSO LP ALLCould only operate Sunday mostly, but had a great time. Nice to see 10 & 15M so populated. No rtty antenna for 80 so could only work 10m - 40m. Thanks for the contest. It's appreciated!!!!!
KA8HOKSA HP ALLReally enjoyed the contest, 10 meter activity was great and very pleased with the results having only an OCF dipole. I highly recommend this iteration of the OCF if you are looking for something that works on ALL bands 80-6 meters. https://www.w8ji.com/windom_off_center_fed.htm See you in the ARRL RTTY Roundup

KC4LZNSO LP ALLHad a blast working this contest as always. Bands were in great shape. it is, late as it were. I know it probably can't be used for score but you can use it for reference to check other logs. 5 days to submit? Why so short? 73 John
KC8IMBSO LP 10MANOTHER FUN ONE!
KD4ACGSO LP ALLNot an aggressive effort...had work to do between work travel and storm cleanup. This was mainly to learn how to use my radio in native RTTY mode. I think I figured it out. I did have some logging issues at the start of the contest, so I know I lost a contact or two in the log
KD5ILASO LP ALLHad a great time operating. Met a lot of very nice operators from all over the world
