I would guess that they were using 'digi-mode' software with only one message-sequence available, and they were set-up as if they were 'Running'. Consequently, I would get a CQ sent back to me, or my callsign and report sent immediately in response to my CQ. All contesters should be encouraged, but this symptom of the 'Xbox world' of digital modes needs to be addressed |

Some ops had great ears, and picked out my signal easily, but a few of the big guns semed to not hear me. For me, 15m was most productive, with a great opening to west coast US. Some nice DX around too, and I added a few slots to my CQ Marathon this year |

| IT9BLB | MSL | After a few hours from the start of the contest we had a serious breakdown on the 15m yagi and we continued the race with an old 12AVQ. Subsequently, the 10m rotor stuck to the north. With our most profitable bands almost unusable, we decided to do our best anyway. This is also part of contesting! |
