VA3MWSO HP ALLFlex 6600 with PGXL & MMTTY - I am always amazed at what MMTTY and the radio can cleanly decode. Band conditions were really nice for the few hours I was able to operate

VA3SBSO LP ALLDue to family commitment (i.e. grand children visiting) I did not spend as much time as I wanted to operating. But conditions seemed very good for the time I did operate. Always a fund contest. See you all next year. 73 Serge VA3SB
VA7DXMSHCondx were not bad but 10m was missing. 15 was spotty. The money bands were 20 and 40. Asia Pacific was surprisingly missing on 40 but more than made up for it on 20. Europe was excellent on 40 and 20. Some EU peaked through on 15. Flex 6700, Acom2000, Elecraft K-line for Mult station. Multi element Quads at 85' for 40 - 10, dipoles for 80m. Thanks to all who worked us! See you in the next contest. 73 Neil VA7DX Keith VE7KW

VU2PTTSA LP 15MI just got my RTTY going after a very long time, so this was just a causal operation, next time will be a serious operation. Decided to stay on 15m operating off and on when time permitted. Conditions seemed to be great with couple of big signal reports from far away places and it was nice to see some serious VU operators in the mix. Rig was an Icom 756 Pro III @ 90 watts to a Hex Beam at 60'. Thanks for the QSOS and see you all next year
W0DCSO LP ALLGlad to see 15 meters in better shape!

W4SSFSA LP ALL2019
W5APSO HP ALLNice to see a 15M opening to Europe Sunday morning. Too bad my computer crashed and I had to take an hour off during the run...oh well Also nice to have a 24 hour category (Classic) although i wish I could do SO2R in that category - but it was also nice to have a laid-back approach. Tnx to all for the Q's
W6QUSO QRP ALLNice start to the contest season with big opening to Europe from San Diego on Sunday AM!!
WA1FCNSA LP 80MAs I watched Online scoreboard I tried my best to catch AB9YC. Then finally realized it was not going to happen. Great job OM. First time ever to oiperate this category..........Neve again!. 73 BoB WA1FCN

WA8YSA HP ALLPC in Shack failed. 15m was good
WB0TEVSA HP ALLPretty much just chased mults, which is why I had more mults (370) than QSOs (355)
WB7QMRSO LP ALLFlex6300, Hamsticks
WB7UOFSO LP ALLAnother fun time with RTTY
WD6TSA LP ALLWas mostly remote-operating as part of N6WM M/M. A few Qs from home. Good prop on both 20 and 15 from my small home station. Didn't try low bands, as that's when I was operating N6WM
WE6ZSA HP ALLConditions were excellent! Worked 4 new countries
WO2YSO HP ALLGreat contest. My best score yet. The three bands I operated were pretty good. 15 was a pleasant surprise! Next year I have to work on the antennas and hopefully get two tone up and running. CQ does a great job with the contests, and the format is operator friendly, unlike some that have exchanges that are way too long!!!!
WQ6XSA LP ALLThis was another WQ6X portable operation from W7AYT's QTH in Concord. This weekend's event was fun, but there seemed to be a dearth of signals, especially on 15-meters. What was MOST surprising from this receive signal vortex location was a relatively lengthy opening to Europe on 20 meters around Sunday noon. The Yaesu FT-1000mp ran FULL DUTY 100 watt RTTY w/o breaking a sweat - one of things I like about the massive transceiver - an excellent quiet FAN along with a massive heat sink system. An RFI problem with from the 8JK-Cobra feedline, relegated 40 & 20 meter operation be run using a radialed CH-250 vertical. Luckily the 8JK worked FB on 80 meters. Rotating the 3-el Long John yagi on 10-meters while calling CQ produced NO QSO on 10-meters - Bummer Dewd. Read all about this GiG at: http://WQ6X.Blogspot.com
